    1. Nine stories - some good, some not so good. Nine readers - some good, some not so good. The good stories don't necessarily have the good readers. The good readers don't necessarily improve the not-so-good stories. Overall, I'd skip it. You can get much better audio versions of A Christmas Carol - why they had an American reader trying to do English accents I'll never understand. The Seven Poor Travelers, one of two other Dickens contributions, was pretty awful. A Winter Walk by Thoreau confirmed [...]


    2. This was a nice mix of Christmas stories and poems. Some were really short, only a few tracks, and others were a couple CDs. There was a weird Charles Dickens story about 7 travelers. I'm not sure what to make of it. Some of the short stories were bizarre too. Overall, it was a fun read, but by far, the best book was "A Christmas Carol."


    3. I really am enjoying this book on tape. The reader is very good. The stories are great. A Christmas Carol is original so it has added details not found in the movie version. I'd like to read this every year around the holidays.
