    1. 3.75 StarsA very cute read with pretty illustrations. To be honest, I picked this up based solely on the illustrations and the fact that it was based in London. I was expecting more of a conclusion but will have to read the next instalment for that.


    2. This is one of the most beautifully illustrated children's books ever. It combines charm quite on the level of Garth William's animals with impressionistic and realistic, moody, beautiful pastel landscapes for those characters to inhabit. It is so adorable and dramatic at the same time. The story is sweet and engaging and suspenseful. The only issue is that it is not a complete book. The story stretches over a series of books.
