    3. Revive starts off at a train station where we meet Sophia who has no recollection of who she is and why she's even at a train station. And immediately the action starts in this fast paced, thrill of a book! Sophia recovers pieces of her memory and as she does we get every twist and turn imaginable. You'll have the pages turning so fast before you know it you're done. I loved Revived! It was a truly fun read and highly entertaining. I felt the way you feel when you binge watch an insanely good sh [...]

    4. My book is out in the world! I hope you like reading it as much as I liked writing it. Actually, I hope you like it more. Because this one was so hard to write.

    5. New Adult is a genre that needs more diversity in terms of the stories. Most of the books tend to be angsty contemporary romances. Just the other day, I was talking to my friend Nereyda and was lamenting the fact there weren't any unique NA books lately. Which is why I'm so glad to see books like Revive popping up in the genre.Revive was a book that I was excited about reading. I have a thing for books with amnesia even though more often than not, they confuse. Revive started off with a bang. Fr [...]

    6. 3.5 starsSee this review and others like it at Badass Book Reviews!Revive might feel a little familiar to long-time science fiction readers, but Tracey Martin executed the story in such an exciting way that I definitely feel it was a worthwhile read. It's really hard to review this book because it works best if you go in knowing very little about it, but I'm going to try to avoid spoilers as much as possible.Revive begins with Sophia Hernandez in the bathroom of a train station. She doesn't know [...]

    7. As soon as I read about this book, I bought it and immersed myself in this futuristic world-although the year is never told. I am not usually a fan of books like this, but I thoroughly enjoyed the whole thing.Sophia wakes up in a bathroom in a Boston train station, not knowing who she is or why she is there. To make matters even more interesting, she is aware that the college student ID with her picture on it that she is carrying, has the wrong name. Her other realization is that the “bad peop [...]

    8. The ending was a little predictable but it was really fun and well developed. My review can also be found on our blog Paein and Ms4TuneThank you to Netgalley and the publishers for a chance to read this book in exchange for an honest review.“Bad people are coming. They will destroy me.” Loc 1111Revive is set in a futuristic world where genetic modifications are possible and there is talk of traveling to Mars and Space Bases. Most of the time the world was very basic and didn’t seem much di [...]

    9. This review appeared first at Fantasy is More FunI received this book for free from Publisher in exchange for an honest review. This does not affect my opinion of the book or the content of my review.4.5 starsIt's been a while since a book really gripped me and made me stay up until 1am finishing it. And it's been a while since I finished a book and immediately looked up when the next one would be available. And read a sneak peak of the first chapter, cursing when that was gone. All the above is [...]

    10. I have to say, this was the most unusual book I have ever read. While it captured my attention with the first few pages, I soon found I was frustrated, lost and confused through most of the story yet not willing to quit before I turned the last page because I NEEDED those answers. A book like this makes writing a review very difficult because there is so much to say, yet so little I can share without spoiling the story for the reader. There is something new and unpredictable in every chapter. The [...]

    11. Read full review at CBY Book Club: cbybookclub/201 I had no inkling into what I was getting myself into when I decided to read this book, but what I did get from it was satisfying enough to convince me not only to read to the end of the book but it also made me excited about the sequel. This was a refreshing read indeed. I loved the thrill of the chase and the excitement brought upon by the mystery and suspense. This book is equally plot driven as it is character driven, which certainly made for [...]

    12. Imagine waking up and not knowing what has happened, almost like Amnesia but the bits that are coming back to you aren't familiar with your so-called everyday life. One of my favourite movies growing up that I tend to watch around my birthday is "The Long Kiss Goodnight" which stars Geena Davis and Sameul L Jackson. In this movie Geena Davis was an old secret undercover agent who was supposedly killed and then it is discovered that she was really suffering from amnesia and then halfway through t [...]

    13. This was a very exciting and fun story, with a ton of twists and reveals. These elements, which made for a great read, make this book extremely hard to review. There are so many surprises which affect everything that happens after that point, that mentioning almost anything would be a spoiler. The story is told with alternating present time events, and flashbacks as Sophia remembers things. It was never confusing, and lent to the mysterious feel of the story. It helped me connect with and underst [...]

    14. I enjoyed how Sophia's observations about humanity could help one realize aspects of daily life that are often taken for granted and for which often don't hold gratitude. Beyond that, the action, the intrigue, and the sci fi all kept me highly entertained and wanting more.

    15. I actually was really surprised and enjoyed this book. I must write a better review later. But I did like enough to share it with a friend. She usually hates books in series and prefers novels, but she even really liked this and can’t wait to read the next book.

    16. It's often hard to tell the good guys from the bad guys in this science fiction new adult thriller. Sophia aka Seven is sent on a mission to find X. But her emotions overpower her training, causing her to doubt the mission and her entire existence.

    19.     Revive, Tracey MartinGenre:  Romance, Fantasy/ParanormalReview from Jeannie Zelos book reviews I really enjoyed Tracey’s Misery series so was keen to see this new one. Its very different, set in a world that feels current but where science has come on in huge leaps. Time wise it alternates from present day to what Sophia recalls from up to twelve weeks past. Sophia, her college ID tells her that’s her name, but she can’t remember anything else. Not who she is, where she’s been, [...]

    20. Though rated new adult this first book is really more a young adult set in college.I requested this book because I enjoyed Martin's other series, Miss Misery (and the blurb promised that Sophia wasn't human.) Sophia's voice sounds totally different from Martin's other main character. It always impresses me when an author can do that. The good:This was the kind of book that kept me reading looking for answers. It was also done right too. I got enough information not to feel strung along, but I was [...]

    21. Revive action packed thriller about Sophia, a girl with some pretty amazing gifts like speed, agility, ability to compute things in her head that most would need a computer program to work out and some really serious fighting skills. I was able to obtain an early release copy via the wonderful NetGalley in exchange for a review. We meet Sophia as she is coming out of a stupor with a good chunk of her memory missing. She is in what appears to be some sort of mall with a food court and there are m [...]

    22. Sophia finds herself in a crowded restroom at the train station with a bleeding cut on her forehead and no idea of who she is. But she may not really be Sophia. As memories come trickling back in, Sophia’s instinct are telling her to run and trust no one. Sophia is part of something much bigger than what she is fully aware of and her time is running out.The book dropped me right on my head in that bathroom stall with Sophia, with no idea as to what was happening or what to expect. I learned wh [...]

    23. I am always up for a science fiction read! I am a huge sci-fi fan, so when Tracey asked me if I'd like to read and review this one, I couldn't say no! Revive definitely had an intriguing premise and I loved the idea of this girl who can't remember anything about her life, but knows she's in some serious danger. It was a bit of a battle to really get into this book for me. I liked that we are experiencing everything as Sophia does, but it was also hard to get a grasp on what was happening. She wa [...]

    24. This book was just pure awesomeness. Seriously, it's been a very long time since I've read something so fresh and appealing. I don't even want to touch on the specifics of what this book is about because anything I say would be one huge spoiler. So you'll have to take the synopsis at face value here. The writing style reminded me of the way the TV drama Alias was always shot. You start off with something crazy, like a girl who has no idea who she is, and then each chapter reveals a little more b [...]

    25. Revive is told from Sophia's perspective alternating between the present as she struggles with her true identity, and looking back as her memories come through. The writing style isn't always fluid, especially at the beginning, as Sophia's thoughts are jumbled, and the writing becomes more fluid as her thoughts became more organized. The realistic narration made what might seem like crazy unbelievable as so much more plausible as well as adding to some pretty great character development. Now, the [...]

    26. A little bit sci-fi, a little bit action and a little bit mystery. It's hard to talk about the book without giving things away because the unfolding mystery is part of what makes it enjoyable but I'll do my best.Right away I got in Sophia/not Sophia's head, feeling just as confused, desperate and afraid. I felt for Sophia/not Sophia. She knows things aren't right, she's not right, doesn't know who to trust, what to do, she just knows that someone is after her.Things start to return to Sophia/not [...]

    27. Beautiful Mash-Up!What a fanastic way to mix together multiple genre types. It was SyFy, contemporary, romance with a splash of different! As you meet Sophia you're instantly drawn to that mysterious factor she carries that, at first, revolves around her not knowing who she is. Then as the novel carries on and she starts discovering things, having flashbacks, she realizes there's more to her than her GPA. As the plot went on I will have to say the author did a fabulous job of hiding at the twists. [...]

    28. I received this book from Xpresso Book Tours in return for a fair and honest review. This book is a Young Adult, sort of Science Fiction, Contemporary novel that all revolves around a nineteen-year-old girl called Sophia doesn't it?! This story is told in the first person, present tense, which might put some people off but if you can get past that, then this is an intriguing and suspenseful tale where you learn about what is happening at the same time as the main character. It is an intriguing tal [...]

    29. This book was very good. It caught my attention immediately as it started off with action. This was a suspenseful, fast paced, fresh, unique, and mysteriously suspenseful story. It often alternates between the past and the present. This story is full of twists and surprises which made it addictive to read. Sophia is a great character. She is confused as she finds herself in the restroom of a train station unsure of who she is and why she is there. She realizes she has some deadly yet helpful skil [...]

    30. **I received an ARC of this story in exchange for an honest review**Sophia Hernandez knows her college ID is lying to her. She is a student at Robert Treat college.
