        Boyd Craven Jr was born in Flint, Michigan, USA on December 7, 1957 He grew up in a close, country, family environment in Grand Blanc, MI He went to school there, and at 18, he followed his father s footsteps into a career with General Motors there where he worked for 30 years and 2 days.Upon retiring at 48 years old, he rediscovered the love for gardening his parents had taught him, raises his own food as much as is practical and enjoys teaching others to do the same He founded The Urban Rabbit Project to teach others how to add a meat section to their garden, no matter where they live He published his first book in Kindle Direct Publishing in November 2012 titled Backyard Meat Rabbits and discovered that he loves writing too So, here he is, trying to become a great story teller, by studying daily some of the best ones out there He can think of no better way to spend the rest of his days, enjoying his retirement

    1. This was a really good start to planning for switching my new meat rabbits to a natural diet. I think the only thing that might make this book better is to include the nutritional information for the different plants in order to make more informed decisions as to what and how much to feed rabbits.


    2. Well my only complaint is that I don't eat meat and have a pet rabbit and the guys writing this raise rabbits for meat! I got this book because my vet suggested changing our beloved rabbits diet to include grasses and more natural foods, She told me a few things but really I had no idea where to start, other than she said skip the iceberg lettuce. So I just read this book in under an hour and it is very informative on the rabbit digestive system and growing food for rabbits. It does have lists o [...]


    3. As informative as the first volumeAs my search for a sustainable meat source continues, vol 2 has armed me with the tools to keep my bunnies organic an thriving on fresh fruits n veggies!!!! Super excited to get started
