    4. I got some great ideas from this text, but my biggest issue is their idea of what a theme is. By nature, and definition a theme is a lesson the reader learns from the text, thus connecting it to the real world. A theme cannot be defined in a single word. It is a statement. What this text was describing as a theme, was really a motif. Otherwise, solid ideas for differentiating the text.
