    1. This was another charming Clopton western. I'm quickly becoming a fan! I enjoyed the plot, characters and setting. This was part of an anthology, so it was a little short, but great if you're looking for a quick escape. Content: Clean

    2. An Ever-After Summer - Debra CloptonI will definitely read more books by Debra Clopton! This story was so sweet! I really enjoyed Debra's writing style and heart-felt characters. I do have a complaint though. I believe she could have made the scene with the rustlers more exciting, and longer too.Okay, characters:Matthew - Completely adorable. He is so sweet, with his 'firm' resolve against falling in love again. And he's so romantic, too - even though he doesn't mean to be. Poor guy - startled by [...]

    3. “An Ever-After Summer”—Debra CloptonI'm not sure that I have read something by Debra Clopton before, but I enjoyed this short story. Reading these two together makes me recall a few years back around Christmas when some authors did a pick up and write Christmas story. Follow up your spring story with a summer tale on a character that is as unforgettable as her name Melvina Eldora or as more fitting Ellie and a broken-hearted widower Matt McConnell and his toddler Sophie. This one made my s [...]

    4. ANOTHER 10 STAR DEBRA CLOPTON BOOKWonderful from the first to last word. I have read all of Debra's books. Some of them I have read several times. Her books have made me laugh so hard I could hardly breathe and also cry very hard as welI. I have never read a book by Debra that didn't take me into the world she created. Reading her books is like taking a vacation without leaving the house. The only problem I had with this book is I would have loved to have twice as much to read :) Great storyhate [...]

    5. Debra Clopton has a way with mules! This ones name is Prudence. And as mules tend to do, at least in Ms Clopton's books, Prudy saves the day. The characters in this story were great. Mathew who lost his wife is looking for a mother for his little girl. And Ellie who has spent most of her life being accused of murder (because all her loved ones tend to die) just wants to be loved and have a family. This was a fun, quick read.

    6. I like novellas. Perhaps it's my personality that just wants to get to the bottom line, or it's the quick read so I can soon be enjoying another book, but the less detail and quick pace of novellas do not bother me at all. Just like in the first book, the writing, characters, and storyline was such that if it had been longer, I would have stuck with it. But as it is, I enjoyed it. This is my first book my Debra Clopton and I will be looking for more of her books in the future.

    7. Book Two in the Brides For All Seasons compilation. All four stories are connected by Melvin Hitchcock with The Hitching Post Mail Order Bride Catalogue. this one is short, sweet, a little quirky but very heartwarming. Also my first Debra Clopton novel. A lovely little read!

    8. This was the best kind of love story!! No one was in denial about what they felt or if the love could happen they just kept turning to the Lord for help to admit it!

    9. I've read a few of Debra Clopton's Love Inspired line, but I think that Ellie is my favorite character of all.
