    1. I found this a very enjoyable, well written story. It's one of those warm, comfortable tales that you can loose yourself in. Would defiantly recommend to anyone who likes to read books set in the 1940s and 50's.



    2. This had me gripped for the first three quarters. Then as it got nearer the end it lost my interest. Unfortunately it all got a little bit predictable and that's when it lost me a bit. Having said that, it was well written and I would read books by this author again.


    3. some parts were interesting and.was a good insight to the way life was back in those times, a good story although not much depth to it


    4. It only took me a day to read t the best book I've ever read but I liked it if I see another book by maggie hope I would buy it
