    2. Zombie shit just got real in this volume. And then retreated. And then came back.Oh man, this one was a bit of a roller coaster. And is still probably one of the few zombie series I can follow without freaking myself out too badly.

    3. I love the cover of this volume, is the best volume until now, finally we hear Chihiro confess, they really are a good couple.

    4. Wanko, madly in love with Chihiro, decides to take the step into becoming a zombie. Ingesting multiple pills from a clinical trial designed by Daryn, she hopes Chihiro will love and take care of her as he has done with Rea. Unfortunately, Daryn advises him that the bottle was from a failed trial and she had replaced the pills with well, one could label it as regular drugs. Nothing to harmful. Wanko wakes up and realizes she humiliation. Talk about a cringe moment .

    5. The abandoned hotel that Rea and Furuya had first met each other in has caught on fire from a lightning strike, and at the same time, Rea's urges take over. Rea pins Furuya down and begins to eat on him! If Rea doesn't eat Furuya first, the fire will consume them both. And as Furuya comes to the brink of death once again, his parting words to Rea may be the key to what can reverse the turbid period and bring her conscious back! But will it be in time to save them both?I suppose that this was ver [...]

    6. ~4/5[Read more at my blog, Geeky Reading!]First, I have to say that I love this cover. The cover on volume four was really good, but this one is just so eye-catching. Particularly because of the bright, neon green. That in itself caught my eye, and then there’s the fact that Rea is eating Chihiro, looking very much like a zombie. It’s a beautiful cover, really. Now, onto the actual contents.Rea is really starting to deteriorate. There are very obviously bad things in her future, and it’s ki [...]

    7. Ever since Sankarea was first published, I've enjoyed certain aspects of it, and could've done without a few other. This volume seemed to show a sturdy balance between a serious story, rom-com, and fanservice, and that is quite the feat in my book. Although I usually get very annoyed with fanservice over-sexualizing women, this volume did not cross the line to make me disgusted and ponder why people have these strange thoughts and find it necessary to illustrate it. Anyhow, to the story! Sanka h [...]

    8. The first chapter in this volume was amazing. But then it got pretty generic again. I'm pretty much still in this for Rea's zombie moments and the art.

    9. A dark romantic manga. Includes zombies and a good art style. There is a good plot and the concept is also very good.
