    About "Susan Mac Nicol"

      • Susan Mac Nicol

Susan writes steamy, sexy and fun contemporary gay romance stories, some suspenseful, some gritty and dark, and others just plain ahhhh. She loves being part of stuff and embraces challenges, finding it difficult to say no to exciting ventures That s probably why she s also Editor in Chief at Divine Magazine, an online LGBTQ e zine, and a Charity Board trustee at The Being Me Campaign in London The LGBTQI community and world diversity are the two things she s truly passionate about, apart from her writing and her poor hard done by, eye rolling but incredibly supportive family.Lover of angst and conflict, she enjoys putting her characters through the emotional wringer and bringing them out the other side with an HEA or at the very least, a HFN.She s passionate about research for her books and has stayed in a circus, taken lessons from a blind person on how it feels to be non sighted, and travelled to a lighthouse with maintenance crew to see first hand what it s like inside She s also written a screen play with Hollywood actor and heart throb Nicholas Downs, with a view to taking her latest release, Sight Unseen, to the big screen It s a huge project but she s loving every minute.Susan attained PAN status with the Romance Writers of America with her first M M book, Stripped Bare She s currently a member of The Society of Authors in the UK and the Authors Guild in the US She enjoys being a member of Queer Romance Ink, All Author, Book Main Bites and the Paranormal Romance Guild Check out her website for links.

    1. Reviewed on: readyourwritesFor Read Your Writes Book ReviewsYet again, Susan Mac Nicol has me! Yes, there isn’t much to the book description. But hey, it’s a Valentine’s Day romance and I’m a sucker for romance. Why I wasn’t prepared for what was inside the pages of this book is beyond me. I am going to have to assume from now on when I read a book by Susan, I need to expect HOT steamy love scenes. Even the characters weren’t prepared for what she did to them!Leigh Cross is a twenty- [...]

    2. If you are looking for a short sexy Valentines read with a great storyline then this is the book for you.I loved this story it has a little paranormal hint to it and i loved the concept behind it. Once again Susan's writing style stands out for me, her words just flow and that is one of the reasons why i love her work.Gerald is nearly 18 year old he has the job of getting Leigh and Ryan together to earn his wings as he wants to make his father proud. The only trouble is Leigh stopped the budding [...]

    3. Check out this review and others ar my blogtwinsietalkfacebook/com/twinsietalk@twinsietalkI give this book a 4.5 stars. I only wish it had been longer.I was given a copy of this short story for an honest review.I have to say Susan is the queen of the quick and amazing short story. This is an adorable Valentine's Day story of a "Cupid in Training" trying to please his family by receiving all the feathers to be a top Cupid like his father and grandfather. Gerald is confused because the couple he c [...]

    4. I purchased this ebook along with "The Magick of Christmas" during an airport Layover in mid February. This was such an enjoyable story to spend sometime with. I really liked the friction between the main characters, and that they both had to face down their own egos to reach happiness. Ms Mac Nicol has a way with words to pack so much punch in a short tale. I am usually hesitant to take chances on short romantic fiction because I prefer to take my time knowing the characters, but Ms Mac Nicol m [...]

    5. SNS Rating: 4.0~~~~~~~~~~Kirsty's ★★★★ Review~~~~~~~~~~~This is a short read. But rushes straight in. Cupid is such a nice guy, he helps get Leigh and Ryan together. Poor guy has to figure out what went wrong and how to fix it. Pretty good read. Not what I would normally read but was good none the less.
