    1. This book incorporates the story of ‘The Three Little Pigs’ and ‘Little Red Riding Hood’ and is written from the perspective of Mr. Wolf. During the book Mr. Wolf comes to the conclusion that the reason why he was unable to kill any of the three little pigs or any other animals is because he sees his own cubs (children) in them. The book shows a softer side to Mr. Wolf as we are introduced to his wife and three cubs, we see him as a family man who wants to provide for them, which is why h [...]

    2. Another great book in the series of After Happily Ever After. Mr. Wolf needs to find a new job now that he has kids of his own and can't stand being a bully. I just love how there's another happy ending at the end of each of these books.

    3. Our oldest brought this book home from her elementary school library. It's a fun story about what happens after the end of the fairy tales. For the big, bad wolf, both of the stories of "The Three Little Pigs" and "Little Red Riding Hood" end unhappily. Coming home to his family empty handed is highly unsatisfactory, so he decides to pursue a career change. The results are quite humorous and the ending is fairly predictable, if not rather unlikely. The narrative is entertaining and the black and [...]

    4. Love this series! The stories are fun and the pictures help support comprehension for struggling readers. Even older struggling readers that I've worked with have enjoyed the stories themselves and I think the fact that they can read them so quickly helps build up their confidence in their reading skills. Would definitely recommend for any elementary classroom library. The wolf one is my favorite that I've read so far and presents great teachable moments on terms of learning to change bad habits [...]

    5. I thought this was a chapter book and started reading it to my boys. We finished it in about 10 minutes, lots of pictures and a fun story inside. Good book for those moving up from picture books, but who aren't ready for long chapter books.

    6. A great twist on the traditional fairy tale. Big Bad Wolf no longer wants to be a bully because he now has his own children. He sets out to find a new job and lands a job at then end that is the big twist. Cute story .ds love it.

    7. The wolf from ‘The Three Little Pigs’ and ‘Little Red Riding Hood’ is down on his luck and thinks about a career change.I thought this was a fantastic children’s book – the story was simple and poignant, beautifully illustrated and with something for both children and adults alike.

    8. This was the first one we read in this series and both the kids and I really enjoyed it. This would be a good teacher read aloud as there are discussion questions listed in the back as well as a list of writing prompts.

    9. Another funny book. These are a great way to show how an author could change or add to the ending if a story. Great for a writing intro.

    10. A good chapter book for beginning readers. These books take fairy tale characters and tell their story after the fairy tale ends.

    11. Kids littler than age 9.I think this book should be recommended for children smaller than age 9. I think that they would probably love this book.
